1.) To prep your banana, take off the peel and make small slices so that you have your banana rounds.
2.) Place a piece of wax paper on your baking sheet and arrange your banana slices on the sheet. Pop in the freezer for about 1 hour!
1.) In a microwave safe bowl add your chocolate chips and coconut oil and microwave for about 15 seconds. Take out and stir and microwave for another 15 seconds, or as much as is needed for the chocolate to melt.
Alternative Chocolate Dip:
1.) Place the coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for fifteen second. If it needs to melt more, microwave another 10-15 seconds, after stirring.
2.) once fully melted, pour and stir your cocoa powder, until fully combined. This can be done with a whisk or fork.
Chocolate Shell Time!
Take your bananas and with the banana on top of a fork, dip into your melted chocolate. The frozen banana will cause the chocolate to harden, creating a shell around it! Pop back in the freezer or enjoy right here and now!
