HEALTHY CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

Autumn is finally here! Although we are excited for the knit sweaters, cute scarves and knee high boots – we are not excited for the holiday weight gain. I think my pants are shrinking this time of year…but it’s really just me overindulging in chocolate croissants, pumpkin spice lattes, and anything else warm and sugary I can find.

Here is our morning smoothie recipe which completely stops my chocolate cravings throughout the day so that I don’t eat what I’m not supposed to! (Mainly so I can still fit into my jeans and don’t feel the need to jump straight into my stretchy PJ’s as I come home!)

INGREDIENTS

  Handful of frozen blueberries

 1 Banana

 ½ Avocado

 1 tablespoon of Almond Butter

 ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder

 1 large tablespoon of cacao powder

 Unsweetened Almond Milk (or any kind of non dairy milk you like)

DIRECTIONS
  1. Place your blueberries, banana and avocado in your blender.
  2. Add the cinnamon powder, cacao powder and almond butter
  3. Fill your magic bullet with your non-dairy milk
  4. Turn your magic bullet ON and mix for about 30-40 seconds

Voila! Now you have a chocolate, blueberry smoothie with NO added sugar and all clean ingredients! You can add more ingredients to this recipe, but this base makes it sweet, creamy and delicious!

Drink this every morning after you have your first cup of Teami Skinny. It will keep you full for 3-4 hours!
